Journal - Barn - Splash and Splatter

Journal - Splash and Splatter Barn - Took a quick trip back to Oxford this week - saw some of the barns I enjoy painting (no time to do so) and hay waiting to be rolled into bales ...I used Rae Andrews color pallette with more of the Prussian blue I love for this sketch...

The sketch has a magical quality to it with the vibrant colors. I love Prussian Blue, Thalo Blue, and Windsor Blue. No ink line here?

Hi Lin, I'm enjoying our exchange about this process that we both love. Thanks for your comments about the nasturtium. Just to tell you, I just went back and edited the 2nd part. More about drawing rather than mosquitos, LOL! I hope you'll go back to read it. I am working toward using less ink line as you did above. I love the ink line so much, but it also can be a crutch preventing me from new explorations. Thanks for your inspiration. I went back to the beginning of your blog, and I enjoyed seeing your developement!
