Travel Journal - At Croatan National Forest -- we had two FULL days of sunshine and warm weather -- truly glorious days. We were able to walk several trails and take in another sunset. We also got to hike Emerald Isle Beach and the Woods Park Trail near the Point -- great time!

This looks like a perfect place to spend a few days. Love the composition and those shells.
I am thoroughly enjoying this journal work. I do something similar when we travel. Many times I have to wait until I get home to journal because we are so busy running around when traveling. I have often wanted to be able to stay put long enough to truly get to do some plein air painting yet it hasn't happened yet.
