Imagine my surprise -- with fluctuating temperatures, no rain, and an insane work schedule to walk into my office building and find several yellow crocus UP and shining at me!

Yesterday, the temperature were in the high 70s, today, back to 50s, and our hoped for rain -- NOTHING .... but these little gems were sure sweet to the eyes!

Ah, a bit of spring in the midst of winter -- or whatever this is we are currently having! Lovely sketch and painting.

Glad they brought you a smile! You did a beautiful job painting them too!

Hi Lin, now I've found you in the blogosphere! I didn't comment on Flickr yesterday, because I kept loosing my wireless connection and finally gave up...

This is lovely, such a cheerful harbinger of spring. After days of trudging through slush and driving on icy roads, your painting brought a smile to my face, too :)

So pretty, Lin! Crocuses were the first flower my elder daughter learned about, so I have a very soft spot in my heart for them.

I love this-one of my favorite springtime finds in my garden. Course, I won't be seeing them here for a couple of months!!!
Great work!

A very lively painting. Lovely.

Here in the Mediterranean area is time for Crocuses, too. They came out in my garden as well just a few days ago. :)

Happy weekend!

Isn't it nice that a few crocuses can bring so much beauty to a day? Nice job on the colors.
