I have fallen in love with David Bellamy's landscapes (http://www.davidbellamy.co.uk/) and thought I'd try a looser painting in his style of big skies and smaller architecture .....
Oh it is just drop dead gorgeous! The sky is WOW and that red tree back there amongst the greens is a great idea. Love, love, the looseness! Hugs, Lorraine
How funny, Lin! I rented a DVD form Smart Flix and it was one of David Bellamy's "how to paint landscapes" I loved it and his style! I had forgotten that was his name until I pulled the web address up. This painting is beautiful! Love the skys and the vast feeling of it.
I only have time for very quick comments as I have to run out the door but just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed all the pics on this page. I love the way you did the clouds on this one. So loose and free and yet quite real too.
