Green and Growing Display

Green and Growing Display
Originally uploaded by linfrye
Back at work, and with the current economic conditions, I returned to to some major personnel changes, overwhelming paperwork, and looming deadlines. Quite a time.

This is another display from the Green and Growing Conference we attended earlier this month. The deep greens and bright flowers are a sure 'pick me up' in the grey, cool weather, and the upsetting changes at work.

Despite the snow, ice, cold, and up and down temps, I do see crocus leaves popping out here and there ... spring can't be too far off ....

Ahhh yes. This bit of color is just what I needed in this white world I am in right now. Love the sketch.

Beautiful and soothing and a much needed look at spring that many of us need right now. Yes, many layoffs in the news last night, local and national. It's what Ron Paul warned us all about during the campaign but all the other candidates laughed at him. Now it's all come true and even worse. It's so sad and scary. We are definitely between a rock and a hard place. I hope the personnel changes don't drastically affect your individual work situation.
Hugs,
Lorraine

What a colorful painting!!! It really brightens things up. After a horrible, snowy/foggy day yesterday we were treated to a warmer, crystal-clear, sunny day today!!! It was soooooooooo nice!
