Each season, my students design and grow plants for the kitchen garden at the Arboretum I direct. This year, I've taken some photos and am trying to use them for learning perspective and additional sketching/watercolor skills.
Here's a portion of the garden with its rows of red and green lettuce, basil and chives.

That you are out drawing flowers and veggies and gardens gives me encouragement to do the same in my neck of the woods. Thanks for being out there doing your thing ... grin ... those of us behind are shamelessly following your lead ... grin

Lin, wow! I am so impressed with all your watercolors, I love especially the cat face and that onion! congrats and bravo to you on your hard work in this difficult medium, I'm trying to learn too but am not as disciplined as you in my study, I need to follow your example!
