Daily Practice
There is a good chance I"ll have the fantastic opportunity of traveling to Tuscany with an admired art instructor next year -- my fingers, toes and all else are crossed!
Meantime, I thought I'd begin practicing some landscapes of those wondrous old hilltop towns, fields and narrow junipers ...

Oh Lin this is fresh and makes me want to be there also. Good idea about practicing now.
It's beautiful! Sounds like a fantastic opportunity-hope it all works out as planned.
Who??? Tell all ;D. I know you must be over the moon at the prospect!
Looks like a place I would want to sit out in my lawnchair and just absorb the atmosphere.
Lucky you!!! I would love to do that sometime. Who is your instructor going to be?
This painting is lovely. It looks like Tuscany is supposed to look like, but when we were there it was December, 2006. It didn't look anything like this!!
I always love your Italian paintings! I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you too!
Hugs,
Lorraine
Wow! Sounds just divine! Love your clouds in this sketch!!! Love the whole sketch, just trying to get a grip on skies, so am very aware of them at the present.
Don't think....just GO!
You lucky dog.
I've got my fingers crossed for you too. What a wonderful opportunity and so deserved! Beautiful scene here.
What a beautiful landscape. It's hard to imagine that anyplace could be as beautiful as all the pictures show... :-)
