Triple Door

I am finally home for the next five days and delighted to have some 'down' time from the fury of long days, late nights, intense hours and the fatigue that comes from too many urgent demands.

Our drought continues as does the heat, but the next five days stretch out before me like an oasis in the desert, and I couldn't be more grateful for the respite.

Your door series is awesome. You continue to explore and each door just gets better and better. Did I miss it somewhere...... what size paper are you painting them on ?

At least it's not QUITE as hot as last week! Rain, rain, where is the rain??? Enjoy your days at home, cara. I know you'll be looking at a couple of books, in addition to sketching ;D.

Oh my goodness you could do a whole book of these -- and you should! It's just wonderful as are all the others. So glad you are having some much needed time off.
Hugs,
Lorraine

I love your door series! There is something about wood and stone that just go together and you capture them together perfectly. These are great!

This might be my new favorite - the squiggly lines, the depth in the arch - tho the blue door is so wonderful too.... Oh, it's just too hard to choose. I think I will just have to have 2 favorites!

Lin-
I just mentioned your blog on Raleigh Real Estate News. I am displaying one of your pictures as well, I hope that's okay with you! I also have you listed on my blog roll.

Great work as usual!
