I can't seem to get the scanner to give me closer colors to what I've done in the original. The background isn't as yellow and the water is more blue ... oh well ....it's still a beautiful park!

Oh how lovely, serene and COOL. Perfect for these 100 degree days! It is very well done all over but I think you did a tremendous job on the bridge and rocks and again, your sense of depth is great!
Lovely, lovely.

Are you up a critic? I think you do such a wonderful job with your watercolors. Do you use different brands? They are always so vibrant and bring your sketches to life. I especially like how you rendered the folliage in the trees. The composition is a bit too centered and think maybe if you would have put the bridge over a bit it would be more dramatic. and finally I think you did great with the depth of this sketch and I feel I can just wander into the forest. Great job!

I have not visited the park before... I normally drive by Greensboro on my way somewhere else! I have recently had a friend move there so I look forward to visiting.

As usual, I'm enjoying seeing your work!
