I think I captured more of a 'coppery' feel here -- but don't know why --- perhaps the shine?

I think it is the shine too you got it perfect.

You did GREAT on that copper. It's beautiful.

Oh wow, you have captured the shine beautifully -- it looks more like a new copper pot or has just been polished. Your highlights are terrific and again I love the flowers too. But I'm really impressed with the copper. You really know how to mix those colors and lay them down!!!

I love your copper pot Lin, it looks rich and shiny, just as copper should.
I also love your fall leaves ou did a while ago, I remember the beauty of fall in SC...just a spectacular sight!!
And I'm also happy for all of you, having a little time with your son in law and I wish him all the best.
I tried to fit in everything I wanted to say now after my long absence and it is so great seeing all your pots of flowers, done a la Lin!!

OMG Lin, that copper pot is really a copper pot with the shading and the bright metal. Just great. Love the flowers too.

Lin, this is a great copper pot. I think you've achieved more shine by more tonal contrast - the highlights are brighter in relation to the darker shadows from the plants. Great job!
