Though the drought has stressed so many of our state's dogwoods, including those on my property, this one tree seemed to compete with the other trees around it for the most vibrant color this year.
Lin, you certainly know how to capture autumn on paper. The colors we are seeing now are just those you painted.
Day's seem to go by and I find I haven't had an opportunity to visit my favorite blogs... I must tell you how much I enjoyed seeing your photo and reading more about you.... But you are wrong ... I have the best grandchildren *wink*.

Oh I love the loose style and the orange and yellow set against the green with just a hint of yellow on the far left. Bravo!

Beautiful, I love the colors, our trees are turning here too. Unfortunately we only have a few that turn in warm weather! LOL
