Brunch

We're continuing our food-ish weekend. For brunch, Charles made an absolutely scrumptious omelette using Vadalia onion tops and the remaining basil cream sauce from last night's pasta. He added a side of cantaloupe and strawberries, bacon and toasted whole wheat apricot bread, and a steaming cup of coffee. INCREDIBLE!

My diet is shot! I'll need five miles on the treadmill -- but oh my, it was SO worth it!

Okay Lin, my tongue is hanging out and my mouth is watering! I love the painting but your descriptive words got to me more. I need to go eat lunch right now!

What a mervellous, 'foodie' weekend you and Charles have had! And you have a beautiful record of the whole experience. Inspiring me to record and draw the precious 'little moments' that get lost in time.

Oh I feel hungry too.Wonderful descriptions and drawings. I have to admit that my holiday journals always have drawings and references to food and what we drank! Are we all getting obsessed with food? Problem is that the fishing holiday is taken with two wine makers and one of the wives is a chef. Penny in Victor Harbor South Australia

Lin,
I'm such a foodie, it sounds great. My spouse cooks like that and I love it. Great rendering.

This is a great page. And now I'm hungry, which is a problem, since I just ate dinner.

Isn't drawing food fun? You've done a great job of both drawing and writing about your brunch and of making me hungry, even though I just had lunch ;D.
