I'm following Monet's example and continuing to sketch multiple views of what I love. Here's another vase of camellias with a different background and a few additional flowers.
What a great idea. I have noticed how much the impressionist painters repeated their paintings with just a slight variation -- beats starting all over again with a new subject -- This one is just as lovely as the first -- different in minor ways but very well done as was the first. I really think this is your medium! Hugs, Lorraine
It's beautiful, so light and fresh looking! I like to take a slightly different angle at life drawing, I don't know why but it's very satisfying. I suppose it trains the eye to be aware of subtle differences.

Another beauty! I love your vases-you have got them down perfect.
Oh, this one's warmer and fuller. Very, very nice, cara Lin.
Whoops, I added a w to my name by mistake! It's me, though ;D.
Camellias have such beautiful structure - very paintable. I can understand why you'd like to do more than one of these. :o)

This is a gorgeous sketch!
