It was a long drive back to NC from my daughter's yesterday --- and a full day of work. By the time I crawled to Rebecca's I was exhausted and tried to do a quick study of the petunias and rock that sits against her garage door.
Not my best work ... I find it difficult to do really fine work when I'm so tired .. but the practice and discipline of sketching something daily remains .... hopefully today I'll have more time and more energy!

Very nice Lin, you kept the whites which really give it Light.
Actually I think this is lovely, it looks as if you went straight in with the brush - very confident.
tired or not this is lovely and gives such a lovely peaceful impression of flowers in a loved garden.

You're amazing--these look so fresh and lively though they were painted when you were feeling anything but.

I truly admire your tenacity and dedication to painting even when you are tired. I don't think I could do that. Bravissimo, cara!
