Salvia guarantica

This intensely blue/purple shrub is all abloom in my garden. It grows in a rather shady area behind my porch and those deep purply/blue flowers poke their bright heads higher than the foliage -- surprising me as I fill the birdfeeder!

The blue in this plant is gorgeous, but what a thug this one is!! You better watch out, cara, it'll take over your garden before you know it!
