I've been meaning for weeks to sketch Rebecca's kitchen table centerpiece -- filled with nandina leaves and bright berries, red cedar branches and blue, waxy berries and bits of blueberry leaves. I finally managed to sketch it this week!
Looking at it now, I wsh I had simplified some of the foliage -- but this pretty table piece was just so FULL of such intriguing shapes and colors that I simply went with the abundance of it.

This is beautiful Lin...although there's a lot going on, it is so light and airy, that it looks fresh and gay.

Oh wow; it's so delicate -- both the foliage and the container -- and I love all the colors -- glad you put them all in!
Hugs,
Lorraine
To me, it only looks congested in this compressed version, opened up it looks very balanced. I can see why the colors and textures drew you in.
Delightful! It's very fresh yet bold in a way too.
There is a lot going on but you managed to capture it wonderfully. so colorful and bright!
