A while back a member of Wet Canvas posted a beautiful image of a garden -- it was a complex scene with all the hardscaping, shrubs, flowers -- so I cropped different views of the image and manage to paint a scene from one of these crops every month or so. This is one such view.
The grant-writing season has begun -- I'll be bogged down in paper for a while as I begin the arduous process of preparation, planning, drafting, writing ...but the temperatures have cooled a bit -- high 80sF, low 90sF .. wonderful to be able to walk without breaking into too much of a sweat!

It is a beautiful litle scene. You always paint such a marvelous landscape no matter what it is!
