While visiting Sicily last year, we visited Caltagirone, the cereamic capital of the island. We couldn't believe the astonishing array of pottery and styles we saw! We brought back a few pottery items and wished we could have brought back more. These two small items, a pottery votive holder and neclace, were purchased with the large vase I sketched several times before.
