I painted this a couple of weeks ago after we returned from the Apple Festival at Bethabara Gardens (site of the earliest Moravian settlement in NC) . The folks at the Historical Park restored the gardens by allowing community members to each have individual plots - and these members have filled each of their spaces with incredible vegetables and flowers. I framed this painting and brought it to the Gallery yesterday.

Great job portraying those little patchwork gardens. I love community plots because of the variety! And congratulations on your gallery show! You well deserve the recognition!
Such a beautiful peaceful scene. Love all those colors.
What a lovely setting and you have captured it so well - just amazing work!!
Another gorgeous painting! I love the colors and the "geometry" of the gardens along with the soft colors. Such a happy painting!
