Though snow remains on the ground, I thought I'd post something a bit warmer....
It's been a fun, exciting and wonderful time with the grands - we're all pretty tired -- but filled with the memories that holidays and family can give.

Beautiful, just beautiful!! I love the background -- perfect! And as always your poppies are glowing and shaded to perfection. Thanks for the bit of summer amidst the snow and ice and bitter temps.

Lin, this is gorgeous!!!! I just love the red of the poppies.
All the recent snow paintings are great. I think actually having it on the ground makes you feel it in the painting. We didn't have a white Christmas, but we did get 21 inches of snow since then. I was stuck in the house for the last two days. lol Of course I was itching to get out. I did get to take a few photos but the wind was so strong that there wasn't any snow on the trees.
