The road to our rock in the woods passes over the River Tar ... Here are the signs warning us about flooding. We've been here 12 years and only after one hurricane has the river overcome its banks ...
This is terrific! This challenge didn't get me as interested in doing it as some, but your painting has inspired me, as has your completing all of them. When I wrote my rant on EDM yesterday, I was thinking of you as someone who actually does the work and has grown tremendously as a result.
Happy Birthday Lin! I am so happy for you! Congratulations on the new car, your grandglorious family, completing all the challenges, and being a special person in the world! Many, many more!
It's too bad there have to be so many road signs to "mess up the view" but you did a great job with them and with the trees. You are definitely getting the "loose sketchy look" in your painting down pat! Now I know where the name of your road comes from! Hugs, Lorraine

VERY nice...no idea there was a river named Tar in NC...who knew?! Is it big?
Nice drawing! I especially like how you did the trees!
I really like this Lin. You did a great job with the shadings in the foliage behind the signs. :o)
beautiful painting!
