Picked up a few other brightly colored leaves that I sketched in between sessions ... then the conference simply got too busy to allow me to sketch .... glad I was able to continue my 'sketch a day' though!!

Pardon my French (!!), Lin, but holy crap!!! This is a gorgeous leaf! The colors are dead on, and its shadow adds to the realism. Bravisimo!
I'm sure glad you found your way out of the woods! Good grief!! The colors on this and the previous post are phenomenal!! Very rich!! Again. . . you amaze me with your perseverance!!!
Gorgeous leaves, this and the last post and oh I do love that bee. Not much time to look at the computer lately so I am catching up on all your fall colour.

You have just LEAPED forward in your work! These are both BEAUTIFUL!!!
Beautifully rendered and what a wonderful shade of red!
Lin, this leaf is just awesome! The shadow and the wee veins and little imperfections simply MAKE it!
Oh my goodness as you say! The leaf is
exquisite -- those tiny veins -- that
detail and color! Just incredible.
Hugs,
Lorraine
Yes indeed, Lin. Very beautiful and I agree with Tami about the leap forward.

Beautiful fall color and sensitive line work! And you squeezed in a post even on a super busy day! Yay Lin!
looks like a real leaf just sitting on the paper - amazing - well done
