Before leaving for work this week, I took a photo of the changing leaf color as the scene appeared from a corner of my roof. The perspective is a bit different -- and I've tried to keep the washes loose without adding the fine lines of ink.
Mornings have been in the high 30s here -- BRRR!!!!!

Beautimous!!! This is gorgeous Lin. I love the perspective. Another card quality painting.
Stunning colors and very strong architectural rendering, too!
Wonderful, Lin! Looks just like autumn!! I love the perspective, too!
Lovely Lin. I love the angle.
Lin, the colours of your trees are gorgeous! They really resemble the colours of the trees I saw last week in Nova Scotia. (I have an album on my Blog with photos, if you haven't seen them already...)
Love the contrast of loose washes for the trees and the more solid lines of your house. Gives the idea the trees are further back, too. Great idea!
I really like this - the specific look of the building and the dreamy look of the trees.
Wow Lin, this is WONDERFUL!!
Oooh, you've got it -- that loose, Wolf Kahn look! ILOVE it! Good going! And what a neat
view. Brrr here too; actually had spitting snow yesterday.
Hugs,
Lorraine

Is that your little house? It looks so sweet and the trees are just gorgeous. I love this painting--the perspective is just great and the loose technique on the trees is perfect!
Super! The colours are glowing in contrast to the shape of the building and the perspective is perfect!
