The challenge this week is to draw "people doing something." Last week while my grandchildren visited and played in their small pool, they decided to water Nonna's flowers by emptying the pool bucket by bucket .... oh yes, and playing in the mud in the meantime!

Oh Lin, this is so absolutely adorable, it brought tears to my eyes. It is a perfect painting of wonderful memories!
What an adorable post and sketch! Hope the flowers could swim..over here the flowers learnt to swim this season, with this rain and all. All my flowers are very long and leggy, like everyone else's around here, asking for warmer sun and less water!

What a beautiful job on this sketch, Lin - I hope you're saving these for your grandchldren when they're older.
What a sweet sketch.
Oh My Gosh, Lin!!! This is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!! She's perfect! I know you want to learn to do close up realistic portraits but these have so much "life" and feeling to them, they are great!
What a difference from your drawings of the kids a year ago! These are terrific. I love her little outfit and the sweetness in these sketches.
