Lin, Wonderful! Isn't it much less intimidating and easier to sketch our grandchildren from the back? And the whole family recognizes them immediately.
Lin, this is so beautiful. It takes me right back to when I went berry picking with my father. I will send you a mail tomorrow to the mailadress you sent me!
What a sweet sweet painting - you must have had so much fun with them. And what a great way to preserve the memory. I predict this will become a treasured family piece.
Lin I havent had time to look for a few days and your drawing and painting are as usual delightful, i love this one of the grand children. especially like your painting of the italian villa.
Lin - This painting is so calming. What a great day to teach the children to pick blackberries and to have this idyllic painting as a remembrance. You do such lovely work!
Oh Lin, this is charming. How sweet! Our blackberries are long gone. So what is grandma going to do with those berries? Or do they even make it to the house?
Wow! I hope you frame this one and save it for them to love and cherish when they're grown. I'd love to have something like this from my childhood (though I do have a portrait my uncle painted of me at that age but it's kind of dour looking).

Lin, this is fabulous, I love it! I would frame it!
Adorable! Have their parents made off with this one yet? The trees are beautifully done, love the road and roadside, nice sky, and on and on.
I LOVE this, Lin! You captured a feeling here...something in their posture! Would love to see you do this in a large scale! BEAUTIFUL!!!
