What an adorable little creature -- I think you did a great job distinguishing him (her?) from the log as I'm sure they are real "blenders." Hope your plant sale is "over the top!" Hugs, Lorraine
Oh, I can't wait for mine to come out/back...a bit worried, he should be here by now, right? I don't know if it is the same, a Spring peeper, but it is tiny and sounds as if it has a sore throat - he lives by the fountain and every morning we have our usual conversation around the first cup of morning coffee! Wonderful drawing, he looks so adorable, like a much loved pet... ronell
Oh no. If the peepers are out there, they will be out here soon! They get in our back yard and peep so loud it begins to sound like a scream! It's fine up until bedtime, and then it just seems like they get louder. I want to just yell to the little females -- "go out with him already, so he'll shut up!" (I guess that's why they are so persistent...) :-D
Hi Lin, Hope you plant sale went well. Thanks for you comments on my little mini paintings. Love your plant paintings lately and this frog is just great. We have a creek near our house and as we walk by you can hear the noisy callings of hundreds or thousands of frogs. Its almost deafening!

Just great Lin! I often wondered what they look like and now I know. Now if I could just see one in person.
I love the picture and the name...peeper...too cute.
